Project information

Founded on the site of the former Dresdener Universtitaetskirche, the new building, in its function and design, goes far beyond a pure reconstruction. The building consists of two constructions: a church in a monolithic concrete construction and a light steel construction.

1st Prize realisation competition 1999

The pastoral care centre now is a place of personal dialog, as well as the dialogues with God. Structurally, the architecture tries to cater for both, aiming to create rather particular places.
