27th November 2011, The ecumenical chaplaincy in Dresden celebrates its 10th anniversary

Ten years ago ksg passed the ecumenical chaplaincy at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus in Dresden to its clients. Now, on the 27th November 2011, the anniversary will be celebrated, as, according to the caretakers, many people have found piece and companionship in this room of silence.

Build at the former site of the Dresden University Church the chaplaincy, in its function as well as its architecture, is much more though than a simple re-erection regarding. The complex consists of two constructions: a church space, build in monolithically concrete form, and a light steel construction.

The chaplaincy has proven itself as both, a place for personal dialogues and encounters.
