1st February 2013 ksg builds for the University of Cologne
kister scheithauer gross architects and town planners (ksg) have been commissioned with the building of an extension to the Economics and Social Sciences Faculty at the University of Cologne.
The university is an inner-city campus university in the west of Cologne, integrated into the developed and dense urban environment.
The aim of the VOF procedure (awarding of freelance services) was to find an appropriate solution in line with the listed building to maintain the facade and floor plan, based on extensive preliminary research relating to the form and position of the building.

18th January 2013 Foundation Stone Ceremony at Belsenpark - ksg is building 85 residences
ksg is building an exclusive building complex at the Düsseldorf district of Belsenpark. The Mayor, Mr Elbers, laid the foundation stone. Completion is planned for the start of 2014.

29th November 2012 ksg completes Ulm Synagogue
20 months after the ground breaking ceremony, ksg is handing over the synagogue to the Jewish community of Ulm. The large window with the Star of David pattern indicates the direction of Jerusalem. Federal president Joachim Gauck will hold the opening speech on December 2nd 2012.

13th November 2012 More Space for more Knowledge – Modernization of Leipzig City Library completed
Reconstruction and modernization work at the Leipzig City Library has now been completed. In addition to fire protection facilities and safety-related upgrading ksg was also responsible for reconstruction and restoration of the structural shell. A modern library service is now available again in this listed building.

Execution planning of ksg for the new laboratory building of the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University Greifswald has been confirmed with the handing over of service phase 5.
